prelude -
Somewhere in the vicinity of 14 billion years ago, or so the scientists say, it all began. All of everything that is shot outward in every direction, in what was at that point the largest explosion that had ever been. It did not make a sound, as there was no one there to hear it, but I do hear that it was colorful.
The energy that had created the explosion floated across what was rapidly becoming the universe as it formed, and spread. It created life as we know it, and as it did it sifted through its creations in search. The energy continued its silent invisible, search until it ended some approximate thirteen billion nine hundred ninety nine million nine hundred and fifty thousand years later (or more simply put, about fifty thousand years ago) when that energy found its vessel roundabouts northern Africa. One of the first of the homo sapiens sapiens, a modern man. He was the first of the first of the Kings of Magic.
But our story begins another fifty thousand or so years later, with an even larger explosion than the one that started everything. It was also very colorful, and it did make a sound, but only one person heard it.
